Community Announcement – Moorish American Saviors’ Day | January 8th

Praise to Allah and Honors to Our Beloved Prophet Drew Ali, Honors to All True & Faithful.

Islam Islam Islam, To all Moorish American Moslems and the extended community,
Today, January 8th, we honor and observe Saviors’ Day, a sacred and historic day for Moorish American Moslems. This is the day on which our Holy Divine Prophet, Prophet Drew Ali, came into the physical form to fulfill a divine mission for the redemption, upliftment, and reawakening of a fallen people.

In alignment with the Moorish Science Temple of America’s 1928 General Vision, to Inform, Educate, and Uplift—we take this day to reflect deeply on the life, works, and teachings of our Holy Prophet. Prophet Drew Ali restored to us our true nationality and divine creed, reminding us of who we are, whose we are, and our responsibility to live according to our Divine Faith of Islamism.

Moorish American Saviors’ Day is more than a commemoration—it is a call to action. A call to:
Inform ourselves and others with truth and historical clarity.
Educate our minds and spirits through divine principles and upright living within the faith of Islam.
Uplift our communities by embodying Moorish virtues in thought, word, and deed.

On this blessed day, may we savor not only the memory of our Prophet’s birth but also the continued responsibility of his teachings alive within us. Let us walk upright, think higher, and serve humanity with compassion and consciousness.

May today be a reminder that salvation begins within, and that each of us carries the duty to make our lives a living testimony of Moorish Science.
